FOR STUDIO OWNERS
You started your studio to teach.
Not to become an overwhelmed business owner. The right systems can change that.
You are a passionate, creative studio owner who loves teaching, not someone who opened a business to get crushed by operations, social media burnout, and confusing new AI tools.
If you are constantly split between being a great instructor and an overwhelmed business owner, struggling with unreliable staff, guessing at your cashflow, and manually tracking attendance, burnout is inevitable.
You deserve a thriving studio without the daily chaos, but your current setup is making you work too hard for it.

MY STORY
Why I care so much about systems
For over 20 years, I've worked as a business management consultant for companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and T-Mobile, helping teams improve operations, streamline processes, and create systems that scale.
At the same time, my true passion has always been dance.
So in 2010, I opened my own dance studio in Seattle. And despite all of my business experience, I quickly ran into the same challenges most studio owners face.
-
Too many moving pieces.
-
Too many decisions depending on me.
-
Too much time spent putting out fires.
I was teaching, managing instructors, handling registrations, tracking payments, answering emails, and trying to keep everything running smoothly.
That's when I asked myself a simple question:
What if I ran my dance studio the same way I helped large organizations run theirs?
-
Instead of relying on memory, I built systems.
-
Instead of reacting to problems, I created processes.
-
Instead of adding more work, I simplified operations.
The results were transformational.
We grew into a multiple six-figure studio with a team of 20 instructors. I was able to take a 3-month maternity leave while the studio continued running.
When we relocated, we taught in our old location one night and opened in the new location the very next day without missing a single class.
Eventually I sold the studio, but the lesson stayed with me:
Most studio owners don't need to work harder. They need better systems.
Today, I help studio owners create the same operational freedom I created in my own business.
And one of the first tools I recommend is WellnessLiving because it's the platform I used to support many of those systems in my own studio.
WHERE I RECOMMEND STARTING
The first thing I recommend to every studio owner
When studio owners reach out for help, they usually want to talk about marketing, growth, staffing, or retention. Those things matter. But before any of that, I almost always look at their systems. Because weak systems make everything harder.
That's why I recommend WellnessLiving. Not because software magically solves every business problem. But because having the right foundation makes every other improvement easier.
If we were working together one-on-one, this is one of the first places I'd have you look.
I've seen too many studio owners trying to manage their business through spreadsheets, sticky notes, text messages, and multiple disconnected systems. It works for a while. Until it doesn't.
What I like about WellnessLiving is that it brings so many of the moving pieces together in one place.
Things like:
Because when your systems work:
✔ You spend less time putting out fires
✔ Your staff can operate with more independence
✔ Your students get a more consistent experience
✔ You have better visibility into what's happening in your business
✔ You can actually take time off without everything falling apart
The result isn't just better organization. It's less stress. More visibility. And more time to focus on teaching, leadership, and growth.
✔ Registrations
✔ Attendance tracking
✔ Billing and payments
✔ Staff management
✔ Student communication
✔ Reporting and business insights
Create a business that gives you more confidence, more consistence, and more freedom.
A NOTE FROM A FELLOW STUDIO OWNER
Emily
"She didn't just coach me, she got into the weeds with me and helped me build real systems that will support my business long-term."
"Working with Julia over the past six months has been incredibly valuable.
She didn’t just coach me—she got into the weeds with me, understood exactly where I was stuck, and helped me build real systems that will support my business long-term.
Julia shared practical, immediately useful strategies for attracting new students and increasing leads.
She also gave me access to incredibly helpful team guidelines, rules, and contract templates that saved me hours of work and helped me bring more consistency to my team...
She also walked me through operational pieces I had been putting off, like integrating waiver forms into our workflow and evaluating different studio management softwares so that I could finally move away from juggling everything in an Excel spreadsheet...
What I appreciate most is that Julia never made me feel like I was asking a 'small' or 'obvious' question. She met me exactly where I was, gave me tools I could actually use, and genuinely cared about my success.
I'm walking away from our time together with more confidence, clearer systems, and a stronger business. I'm incredibly grateful for her support and would recommend her to anyone who wants both mentorship and real-world expertise."

NEXT STEPS
Ready to create more freedom in your studio?
The systems you put in place today will shape how your studio operates six months from now. If you're ready to reduce the chaos, create more consistency, and build a stronger foundation for growth, here's where I recommend.
STEP 1
Secure your spot on the waitlist
I work closely with a small number of studio owners at a time to help them build the systems, processes, and operational foundations that create long-term freedom.
Because of the level of support I provide, coaching spots are limited.
If you'd like to work together when a spot becomes available, join the waitlist today.
As a thank you, I'll also send you my free PDF:
"The Studio Systems Checklist" - A practical guide to the key systems every studio owner should have in place to reduce stress, improve consistency, and stop the business from depending on them for everything.
I'll personally reach out when a coaching spot opens up, and you'll be among the first to know.
STEP 2
Build your foundation while you wait
You don't have to wait for a coaching spot to start improving your business.
In fact, if we were working together today, one of the first things we'd look at is the systems and technology supporting your studio.
That's why I recommend exploring WellnessLiving.
Book a free, no-pressure demo to see how it can help simplify scheduling, registrations, payments, attendance tracking, staff management, and communication.
Imagine looking back one year from now...
Will your studio still depend on you for everything?
Or will this be the moment you finally started building the systems that support the business, and the life, you actually wanted when you opened your studio?
Imagine a studio where:
✔ Registrations happen without manual follow-up
✔ Payments are collected without chasing people down
✔ Your staff knows exactly what to do
✔ Students receive consistent communication
✔ You can take a vacation without checking your phone every hour
✔ You feel like you're running your studio instead of your studio running you
That future doesn't happen by accident.
It starts with the systems you put in place today.
And it starts with one step.
THE DEMO
What to expect during the demo.
Many studio owners hesitate to book a demo because they're worried about sitting through a high-pressure sales call.
That's not the purpose of this conversation.
Think of it as an opportunity to explore what's possible and see whether WellnessLiving could be a good fit for your studio.
During the demo, you'll typically see how WellnessLiving handles:
✔ Class and course registrations
✔ Attendance tracking
✔ Automated payments and billing
✔ Staff management and scheduling
You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions specific to your business and evaluate whether the platform supports the way you want your studio to operate.
There is no pressure to make a decision during the call. Take the information, ask your questions, and decide whether it's the right fit for your studio.
Remember, the best software isn't the one with the most features.
It's the one that helps you spend less time managing your studio and more time teaching, leading your team, and serving your students.
✔ Student communication and marketing tools
✔ Reporting and business insights
✔ Client self-service through the website and app
ASK QUESTIONS
Questions to ask during the demo.
Every studio is different, so come prepared with questions that matter most to your business.

-
What marketing and retention tools are included?
